In the July issue of Vanity Fair from July 2003 in which she was featured as one of the most popular teenagers of this season. In 2004, Vega had completed two movies: Sleepover and State's Evidence. In the Lifetime TV series Odd Girl Out as a cyberbully, she made an appearance in 2005. She starred in a made-for television show in 2006 called Walkout. As of 2007, she finished shooting Remember the Daze which was only available in select theatres. Repo is her swan song. The Genetic Opera released in 2008. 10 years ago, Vega was cast as the lead role in Helix, written and directed by Aram Rappaport, which was filmed in Chicago at the beginning of March in 2008. Her initial role was in Robert Rodriguez's 2009 Robert Rodriguez film Shorts. But due to the fact that she was in Australia to shoot Broken Hill, the role of Vega on Shorts needed to be changed. Her replacement was Kat Dennings. Penny, a character she played in Broadway's Hairspray. She was Ruby Gallagher in the ABC Family sitcom Ruby & the Rockits which featured Patrick Cassidy and David Cassidy. Vega appeared as Wick in the 2012 film The Devil's Carnival, a film by director Darren Lynn Bousman and screenwriter Terrance Zdunich. The two previously worked together with Vega in Repo! The Genetic Opera. 12] In 2012, Vega was a part of the indie thriller 2br/1ba directed by Rob Margolies and co-stars with Spencer Grammer and Kathryn Morris. Vega was also on her role in the Lifetime Channel movie The Pregnancy Project and her animated feature The Clockwork Girl was completed. The Mine was filmed by Vega in the year 2010. The film was only available for a brief screening. Vega also voiced Christina in the animated series Unsupervised and also had a guest performance on Royal Pains. Vega was the character in Aerosmith's "Legendary Child" video, which was a song. [13]
