Carey, a former top fashion model who stands at almost 5'10" she was a favorite of American designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. In 1979, the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists voted her father Scientist of the Year. Carey was brought up across the globe as a consequence of the work of her father. When she was attending the University of Colorado at part-time when she was discovered to be the target of Ford model Agency representative in New York. In 1980, she moved to France and briefly lived in Paris and Bordeaux and then returned to New York in order to pursue an acting career. The model was featured on Vogue as well as Glamour pages. In between her modeling assignments she was a full time student who was pursuing a degree of literature from New York University. She became more interested in acting and started studying with the Neighborhood Playhouse of New York. Her acting debut came with a small part in the film 'Club Paradise" in 1986, starring Robin Williams. She loves rock climbing, skiing, and windsurfing.
